Job Summary
Greet and seat guests, clear and reset tables, and prepare the buffet station with silverware, plates, and glassware. Service all food and beverage requirements while maintaining high standards of personal appearance and proper uniform. Operate the P.O.S. system, answer telephone inquiries, and process cashiering functions for closing checks and end-of-shift paperwork. Perform opening and closing procedures, attend required meetings, and execute side work duties according to station rotation assignments. Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Aimbridge Hospitality standards.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly
- Must be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately
- Must work well in stressful high pressure situations
- Must be effective at listening to understanding and clarifying the concerns and issues raised by co-workers and guests
- Must be able to work with and understand financial information and data and basic arithmetic functions
- Must maintain composure and objectivity under pressure
- Weekends Required
- MUST MEET KY AGE REQUIREMENTS TO SERVE ALCOHOL
Desired Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred
