Job Summary
Create a warm, welcoming atmosphere for youngest children by planning and delivering structured activities like storytelling, creative arts, sensory play, and outdoor adventures. Support child development and wellbeing through engaging experiences while maintaining accurate records of accidents, incidents, and observations. Uphold high safeguarding standards, including Enhanced DBS checks and Children's Barred List compliance, alongside Health & Safety policies. Provide healthy snacks, manage toileting and hygiene routines, and build positive relationships with parents, schools, and the team. Set up and tidy play spaces to adapt environments for different activities. Promote early years best practice and nurture a love for learning through play within a supportive, fun team culture.
Required Qualifications
- Level 3 Qualification in Early Years
- Enhanced DBS check
- Children's Barred List Check
- Exemption from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974
- Satisfactory DBS and suitability checks
- Knowledge of safeguarding
- Knowledge of Health & Safety policies
- Confidence to lead Early Years activities
- Ability to support a team
