Job Summary
Set up the breakfast buffet daily, prepare all foods, and maintain an attractive, clean display throughout the meal period while ensuring food safety standards are met. Serve guests by pouring coffee, answering questions, and offering a friendly welcome, then clear tables and break down the buffet as the restaurant closes. Perform cleaning duties including polishing the buffet, cleaning floors and tables, and keeping storage areas stocked. Adhere to hotel safety and security policies, anticipating problems and contacting management as needed. Work 20-30 hours per week at $18.00 per hour, requiring the ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds occasionally, and work under variable temperatures.
Required Qualifications
- A high school education or equivalent
- Prior customer service experience
- Ability to work long hours if needed
- Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally
- Ability to exert up to 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly
- Ability to bend, stretch, twist or reach with your body and arms
- Ability to work under variable temperatures and noise levels
- Near Vision - The ability to see details at close range
- Ability to stand for long periods of time without sitting or leaning
- Ability to convey information and ideas clearly in English
