Job Summary
Coordinate and manage fleet operations logistics by assessing and assigning open events, verifying authorization, and dispatching the nearest service provider for repairs. Advise customers of estimated arrival times, inform supervisors of delays or repair issues, and address emerging customer inquiries. Ensure all vehicles are maintained and repaired promptly to support 24/7/365 market coverage. This role requires strong dispatching and multitasking skills, with availability for weekend, evening, or overnight shifts. Candidates must possess relevant experience in breakdown or heavy-duty vehicle maintenance.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 3 years of experience in a related field (Dispatching for breakdown and/or tire, medium to heavy duty vehicle maintenance)
- Strong knowledge of dispatching and multitasking
- Class start date: October 5, 2026
- Training schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm ET
- Available work schedules: TBD, but we operate in a 24/7/365 environment
- Most work schedules will be either weekend, 2nd (Evening/Nights), or 3rd (Overnights) shift
- This position is fully remote for those living outside of a 30-mile radius of 300 Commerce Dr, Cherryville, NC
- This position is hybrid for those living within a 30-mile radius of 300 Commerce Dr, Cherryville, NC
- Must clear a pre-employment drug test
- Must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer without current or future sponsorship
- No OPT, CPT, STEM/OPT or visa sponsorship now or in future
Desired Qualifications
- Advanced degree or certification in a related discipline (Medium/Heavy Duty Truck Technology)
- 5 years of experience in a related field (Dispatching for breakdown and/or tire, medium to heavy duty vehicle maintenance)
- Degree in related discipline
- Industry experience
