Job Summary
Operate processing and packaging equipment safely while performing in-process quality checks and documenting results per standards. Replenish production supplies, prepare raw materials for mixing, and attach appropriate labels to ensure product compliance. Monitor filling lines, maintain work area cleanliness, and follow Good Manufacturing Practices and safety procedures at all times. Cross-train in other roles to support team goals and promote operational flexibility. Maintain regular attendance and assist in executing Food Safety and Quality Systems. This break relief swing role supports Mid Valley Family Foods' continuous improvement mission with a focus on dairy production processes.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of six months of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must be able to stand, walk, and climb stairs for extended periods
- Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling up to 65 lbs
- Must be able to work in varying inside/outside conditions
- Personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn as required by job assignments
- Compliance with OSHA standards and company safety policies is required
Desired Qualifications
- Understanding of dairy production processes is a plus
- Prior experience in dairy or food processing is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Ability to work well both independently and in a team environment
- Effective communication skills
- Willingness to learn and adapt to different tasks and equipment
