Job Summary
Mix and prepare hundreds of hand-formed artisan breads each shift by prepping produce and deli products, scaling ingredients, benching dough, and operating kitchen machinery including ovens, proofers, and mixers. Load carts and racks with product while lifting and stacking flour, maintaining a clean, sanitary environment. Assist bakery clerks and provide guest service as needed. This full-time role requires travel to Woodland, Vacaville, and West Sacramento, with shifts starting at 4:00am. Candidates must be at least 18 years old, possess basic math skills, and have the physical ability to lift up to 75 pounds. Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age
- Possess basic math skills
- Physical ability to mix hundreds of pounds of dough and form into loaves
- Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds
- Have intermediate product knowledge including knowledge of temperature, chemical reactions, and bakery products
- Basic understanding of the English language, which includes the ability to communicate and read basic instructions, schedules and signage
- Have a passion for putting out a great product consistently
- A positive attitude is essential!
