Job Summary
Bread Baker at Eataly Soho is responsible for producing bread and focaccia per authentic Italian recipes in our 24-hour bakery, following proper proofing and baking techniques, maintaining a clean and sanitary production area per DOH standards, and assisting guests and Sales Associates with knowledge about our bread production. Reports to the Store Head Chef and works across shifts, including evenings and weekends; requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and to operate wood burning and electric ovens and a commercial spiral mixer. Post-secondary culinary program is highly preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ year of experience in a baker preparation position
- Basic math and measuring skills
