Job Summary
Welocalize seeks a Brazilian Subject Matter Expert (PhD level) to contribute to high-quality AI training data for a social media client. Responsibilities include crafting challenging, expert-level questions on Brazilian topics, writing ideal responses in Brazilian Portuguese, and breaking responses into individually cited facts with sources. Mandatory requirement is PhD-level expertise; candidates must work independently on a remote, flexible freelance basis, with tasks conducted in Brazilian Portuguese. Project language pair: Brazilian Portuguese. Engagement type: Freelance / Independent Contractor. Estimated volume: ~60 hours over ~2 months. Tools may be used for research support but all questions and fact breakdowns must be original work. Location: Remote. Language area: Religion, Spirituality or Philosophy. Tools: consumer-grade LLM with search for prompt calibration; sources and relevance must be cited.
Required Qualifications
- PhD in Religion, Philosophy, or closely related field
- PhD-level expertise in Brazilian topics
- ability to craft expert-level questions and answers in Brazilian Portuguese
- experience in literature & linguistics (preferred)
- remote freelance engagement
- availability for approximately 60 hours over ~2 months
