Job Summary
The UFC Gym Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Coach delivers private and small-group BJJ training to members, drives revenue through private sessions, seminars, and workshops, and ensures a positive member experience. Responsibilities include selling and conducting private/small group training, tracking client programs and workouts, maintaining the training space, supporting revenue objectives, and serving as a brand ambassador for the Train Different philosophy. The role requires weekend availability, adherence to schedules set by the Mixed Martial Arts Manager, and effective communication with members and staff. Qualifications emphasize advanced BJJ credentials (purple belt or higher), relevant teaching experience, CPR/AED, DotFIT certification (preferred), and strong customer service and organizational skills. Required Qualifications
- Minimum of Purple belt or higher
- Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Belt Certificate
- Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Coach lineage verification
- Grappling tournament record (preferred)
- Current CPR/AED certification
- Current DotFIT certification (preferred)
- Minimum 1 year of related teaching experience
- Extroverted/Self motivated/Customer service minded
- Ability to work weekends and clock in/out for shifts
- Knowledge of private training techniques from assessment to program design
- Working knowledge of dotFIT program and software
- Knowledge of company policies and safety procedures
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Friendly, enthusiastic attitude
- Strong customer service focus
- Professional communication with guests, members, staff
- Basic computer skills (Word and Excel)
- Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks
- Experience operating office equipment
- Follow policies and handbook
