Job Summary
Lead private and small-group Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu sessions, coaching members of various levels with a focus on safe, effective, and inspiring instruction. Act as a brand ambassador and maintain a neat, organized training space while driving revenue through private training packages. Responsibilities include delivering high-energy sessions, engaging members in seminars/workshops, managing client base, and ensuring compliance with liability and certification standards. Must document workouts, adhere to company policies, and maintain reliable weekend scheduling. Required: Purple Belt or higher, BJJ belt certificate and lineage verification, 1 year teaching experience, CPR/AED certification; Personal Training certification a plus. Proficiency with basic computer tools (Excel/Word) and ability to perform physically demanding training sessions.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of a Purple Belt or higher in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu
- BJJ Belt Certificate and lineage verification
- Minimum 1 year of related teaching experience
- CPR/AED certification
- Personal Training certification is a plus
- Technical proficiency with basic computer skills (Excel/Word)
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift 45+ lbs
