Job Summary
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Coach at UFC Gym responsible for delivering great member service and driving revenue through private and small group training. Duties include selling and conducting private/small group training, encouraging member involvement, administering client programs and workout plans, tracking measurements, arriving on time for training, supporting revenue-generating activities (seminars, workshops, complimentary workouts), maintaining an organized training floor, ensuring safety and policy adherence, documenting daily workouts, and being a brand ambassador of the Train Different philosophy. Requires in-depth knowledge of private training techniques, dotFIT program proficiency, CPR/AED certification, BJJ belt certification and lineage verification, and at least 1 year of teaching experience; weekend availability and strong customer-service focus are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of Purple belt or higher
- Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Belt Certificate
- Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Coach lineage verification
- Grappling tournament record (preferred)
- Current CPR/AED certification
- Current DotFIT certification (preferred)
- Minimum 1 year of related teaching experience
- Knowledge of Private Training techniques from assessment to program design
- Knowledge of dotFIT program and software
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Customer service minded
- Ability to work weekends
- Excel and Word proficiency
