Join our manufacturing team as a Copper Component Assembler and Brazer, responsible for assembling and brazing copper components in a large plant setting. The role involves interpreting blueprints, preparing setups, and applying basic math skills for quality assurance. Ideal candidates will have extensive experience in brazing and mechanical assembly.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in brazing and welding techniques.
- Strong mechanical assembly skills.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints.
- Skilled in using a tape measure for accurate measurements.
- Experience brazing 180° and 360° joints with a braze torch.
- Ability to braze brass fittings to copper.
- Familiarity with brazing materials such as BCUP-5 rods and Stay-Silv brazing flux.
