Job Summary
Identify unit options using bill of materials to complete required work content per unit. Align, clamp, and position work pieces using tools such as jigs and vices to comply with engineering drawings. Apply heat, appropriate alloy, and nitrogen to produce assemblies while ensuring safety and quality standards. Operate PIT, obtain license, and achieve certification in leak testing and vacuum/charge. Train new members on machines, procedures, safe work practices, and pertinent safety and quality items. Maintain the 5s program to ensure a clean work area and follow HOMESafe, Persona Choice, and company safety manual requirements. Reidentify defective work pieces to comply with quality standards. Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, or product specifications to determine fabrication sequences. Complete company provided wiring training and achieve certification. Read and follow wiring schematics.
Required Qualifications
- The ability to lift, push, and/or pull materials
- The ability to stand for majority of the shift
- The ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining proper PPE
- The ability to use hand tools for extended periods of time
- The ability to read and understand written English
- High School Education/GED OR Minimum 2 years of related experience in a manufacturing/production environment
- Ability to obtain PIT License
- Obtain Certification in leak testing and vacuum and charge
