Brandywine Virtual Academy Elementary Education Teacher (2)

Brandywine Virtual Academy seeks two elementary education teachers to deliver online instruction for K-5 students across Pennsylvania from its Downingtown, PA location. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in education and PDE K-6 (or PreK-4) teaching certification, with current FBI/PA Child Abuse/State clearances. Responsibilities include designing and delivering engaging live and asynchronous online instruction, using LMS/SIS tools, maintaining student records, communicating regularly with students/parents/guardians and partner districts, and supporting universal design for learning and digital citizenship. Additional duties include collaboration with families and colleagues, planning curricula and lessons (synchronous and asynchronous), providing targeted instruction and interventions, contributing to IEPs for eligible students, supervising homerooms and Wellness Check-Ins, and ensuring compliance with AUP and program policies. The position is in-office with three days in the office and two days work-from-home, schedule Monday–Friday, 8:00–3:30, across about 194 days per year for new professionals (slightly fewer in subsequent years). Salary ranges listed reflect multiple certification tracks from Emergency Certification through Master’s level credentials, with annual compensation from $59,796 to $107,845.
