Job Summary
Lead senior brand strategy engagements from discovery through execution, owning client relationships, running workshops, and producing the strategy work yourself. Responsibilities include leading brand discovery via interviews and workshops, conducting user and market research, building brand platforms (mission, vision, values, voice, messaging hierarchy, narrative), translating strategy into digital execution (sitemaps, wireframes, content frameworks), collaborating with design/content teams to maintain brand intent, presenting work to clients, facilitating decisions, and contributing to proposals and new business development. Qualifications emphasize 10+ years in brand strategy, experience with user research (surveys, focus groups), proficiency in strategy documentation (personas, journeys, competitive analysis, content frameworks), strong presentation skills, and familiarity with nonprofit clients as a plus.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years developing brand strategy, ideally in an agency setting
- Experience running user research, including surveys and focus groups
- Comfortable producing strategy documentation: personas, user journeys, competitive analysis, content frameworks
- Strong presenter. You can walk a client through a recommendation and hold the room.
- Experience with mission-driven or nonprofit clients is a plus
