Brand Strategist

Job Summary
Define and execute a high-level brand and social growth strategy with a focus on audience development across Instagram, TikTok, and other platforms. Advise on content pillars, themes, and positioning for a distinctive social brand; recommend Reels and short-form video strategies; build and manage community engagement initiatives and creator/fan partnerships; provide high-level paid media recommendations across Meta Ads, TikTok, and YouTube aligned with brand growth; define target audiences and growth opportunities; collaborate with the filmmaker and internal teams to align social strategy with broader brand objectives. This role is a freelance consulting position with independent operation, targeting entertainment, media, or creator-led brands, and leveraging expertise in social media strategy and paid media.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in audience growth and social media strategy for entertainment, media, or creator-led brands
- Expertise with Instagram, TikTok, Meta (Facebook), and short-form video content
- Strong understanding of community building and creator engagement
- Ability to operate independently as a freelance consultant while providing strategic guidance
- US-based knowledge of the film and entertainment audience is preferred
