Job Summary
Lead an interdepartmental team to complete assigned projects on time, to specifications, and with accuracy while maintaining oversight of the global licensing project. Proactively address emerging concerns, ensure deadlines are met through clear communication and stakeholder follow-ups, and translate documents between English and Japanese for internal and external teams. Collaborate with US, UK, and APAC licensing partners to execute end-to-end international projects with top-tier brands. This role requires five to seven years of experience, a bachelor's degree, and bilingual proficiency in English and Japanese with strong cultural understanding. Candidates must prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and demonstrate analytical problem-solving skills. The position offers a hybrid work environment, a base salary range of $95,000–$127,000, and comprehensive benefits including employer-paid healthcare and 401k matching.
Required Qualifications
- Five (5) to seven (7) years of relevant professional experience or a demonstrated equivalent level of expertise
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or a demonstrated equivalent level of applicable experience
- Bilingual with excellent written and verbal business communication proficiency in both English and Japanese
- Solid understanding of Japanese culture and business customs
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and ability to work effectively in team environments
- Thorough understanding of or the ability to quickly learn about the project or product being developed
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is a must
- Background in account management in an agency setting is a strong advantage
- Previous experience in licensing business is desirable
- While passion for the Pokémon brand is a plus it is not required, however knowledge of and a willingness to learn more about the brand is a must
- Must have the right to work in the United Kingdom, Ireland, or Republic of Ireland (based on location context)
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
