Job Summary
Brand Manager responsible for planning and executing marketing activities for owned and third-party brands distributed in Italy, defining brand strategies, annual marketing plans, promotional calendars and investment budgets; strong collaboration with the sales force including field support, coaching, and joint promotional initiatives; budget monitoring and cost control with alignment between forecast, volumes, and A&P investments; market and data analysis translating insights into concrete recommendations; preparation of high-quality reporting and presentations for brand owners and company leadership; coordination of new product development, POS materials, and agency/supplier relations; field presence for client presentations and sales support to key activations; requires extensive experience in brand management within the beverage/FMCG sector and familiarity with HORECA and GDO channels, plus hands-on operational capability and strong analytical and communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- 5-10 years of consolidated Brand Management or Marketing/Trade Marketing experience in beverage or FMCG, with focus on own brands and distribution
- experience in small/medium-sized, family-run or owner-managed contexts
- deep knowledge of Italian HORECA and GDO channels and their promotional/distribution dynamics
- prior experience in managing relationships with brand owners and commercial partners
- strong mastery of Excel and PowerPoint; ability to work quickly and precisely on analyses, budgets, forecasts, reports, and presentations, even under tight deadlines
- working English proficiency (B2+)
- data-driven mindset and operational orientation with numbers familiarity
- excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills
- flexibility, entrepreneurial spirit, and ability to operate in agile contexts with direct reporting to ownership
- willingness to work steadily in Rome
