Job Summary
Collect and analyze market data, consumer purchasing patterns, and historical sales to develop a comprehensive Merchandising Plan with progressive phasing. Monitor stock levels against pre-agreed targets and track actual sales performance to implement corrective actions such as stock reduction and warehouse rotation strategies. Ensure launch and delivery timelines are strictly respected to optimize production planning and smooth stock flow. Continuously monitor external market activity through diverse data sources and regular visits to competitor stores to support collection development and commercial strategy. This six-month full-time internship requires advanced Excel proficiency and a strong interest in retail trends.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, Engineering Management, or a related field
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data manipulation, formulas, pivot tables)
- Good command of written and spoken English (at least B2 level)
- Full-time availability for a 6-month internship
