Job Summary
Create, schedule, and post social media and website content that aligns with monthly messaging themes, simplifying complex financial topics for a diverse, global audience. Partner with creative teams and vendors to produce high-quality multimedia, while maintaining a comprehensive calendar to ensure regulatory compliance. Monitor platforms for community management, responding to interactions and escalating sensitive member service requests. Author urgent website alerts, support the UNFCU Foundation and sustainability teams with content deployment, and collaborate with analytics teams to optimize performance using data. Develop relationships with departments and agencies to support broader marketing strategies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field
- 2-4 years of professional experience managing brand-level social media platforms, digital content
- Proficient in social media management reporting, listening, and scheduling platforms (e.g., Hootsuite)
- Hands-on experience executing native publishing and community interaction across major channels (LinkedIn, X, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube)
- Strong copywriting and content creation skills, with a specific talent for writing engaging hooks, short-form captions, headlines, website copy, and general marketing text
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs and ability to learn job-related software
Desired Qualifications
- Experience tailoring content for an international audience is a plus
- Experience using content management systems (CMS) for basic website updating and alert publishing
- Knowledge of setup, asset deployment, and audience tracking for paid targeted advertising across social channels
