Job Summary
Brand and Communications Lead to shape Bastion’s brand positioning, ensure consistent messaging and visuals across touchpoints, own earned media and press strategies, prep executives for panels, and run targeted campaigns aimed at enterprise decision-makers to drive pipeline. You will map market presence, identify gaps, build relationships with reporters and editors, align external communications with sales objectives, and translate brand assets into a scalable communications infrastructure. You will establish Bastion’s brand voice across website, LinkedIn, executive communications, and external content, launch targeted campaigns focused on enterprise buyers, and develop an employer brand cadence. By 180 days, you’ll scale earned media momentum, secure initial press placements, articulate how activities connect to pipeline, and work with agency partners as the function grows. The role requires comfort operating as a team of one in a fast-moving startup environment, with a strong emphasis on credibility in regulated fintech and crypto-adjacent spaces, and the ability to produce concrete outcomes in early weeks and months.
