Job Summary
Promote Charlotte FC at various events throughout the year, including fairs, festivals, sporting events, parades, and more. Assist in the execution of matchday and non-matchday internal events by setting up and breaking down event spaces. Interact with avid, casual, and new fans to educate them on important Charlotte FC messages, distribute giveaways, and encourage team support to create a fun, loud, and positive atmosphere. Provide on-site support for community and grassroots activations while maintaining a professional demeanor. This role requires residing in the Carolinas, holding a valid driver's license, and working no more than 30 hours per week. Candidates must be willing to work non-traditional hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, and endure various weather conditions. Must be able to lift 50 lbs and stand or walk for 8 to 10 hours.
Required Qualifications
- Applicants must currently reside in the Carolinas, preferably near major metro areas or be willing to commute
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Outgoing and engaging personality
- Knowledge of Major League Soccer, specifically Charlotte FC
- Punctual, professional and mature demeanor
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Must be a team player
- Must be able and willing to work in all Charlotte FC home matches
- Must be able and willing to work a minimum of one Crown Crew shift per month, including Charlotte FC home matches, grassroots activations and Charlotte FC-led events
- Must be able and willing to work non-traditional hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Must be able to lift and carry at least 50 lbs
- Ability to remain standing/walking for 8 to 10 hours
- Ability to climb stairs
- Ability to work both indoors and outdoors, and endure weather conditions, including rain, wind, high and low temperatures, etc
