Job Summary
Represent HomeWorks Energy and the CT Energize program at Connecticut events, engaging attendees to promote products and services while educating them on energy efficiency initiatives. Set up and organize event displays to attract and engage visitors, then efficiently dismantle and transport all materials upon conclusion. Schedule home energy assessments and heating and cooling appointments to support program objectives. This full-time, hourly position requires travel in a personal vehicle, standing for long periods, and handling equipment up to 60 lbs. Compensation includes $23 per hour plus commission for assessments, with uncapped potential averaging $500 weekly. Health, dental, and vision insurance, 401k with match, and PTO are provided.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and communicating in English
- Requires walking to designated location
- Standing for long periods of time
- Bending, crawling, and carrying and assembling equipment up to 60 lbs
- This job may require travel in a personal vehicle
