Job Summary
Represent HomeWorks Energy and the CT Energize program at Connecticut events, engaging attendees to promote products and services. Set up and organize event displays to attract visitors, then efficiently dismantle and transport materials after each event. Educate individuals about energy efficiency initiatives and schedule home energy assessments and heating and cooling appointments. This full-time, hourly role includes planning, project management, and ensuring successful event execution with setup and breakdown duties. Requires a high school diploma, strong communication skills, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Travel in a personal vehicle is required for designated locations including farmer's markets and town events.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and communicating in English
- Requires walking to designated location
- Standing for long periods of time
- Bending, crawling, and carrying and assembling equipment up to 60 lbs
- This job may require travel in a personal vehicle
