Job Summary
Branch Travel Designer IV combines high-level travel-sales acumen with expert itinerary design for luxury leisure travelers. Responsibilities include selling tours, cruises, and customized international programs; collaborating with clients to determine needs and advising on destinations, transportation, travel dates, accommodations, and costs; designing global detailed itineraries; using Sabre to book transportation and hotel reservations; managing client data in ClientBase; handling payments and maintaining a premium level of service; multitasking under pressure and working effectively in a team. Must leverage strong sales skills, deep knowledge of cruises/tours/FITs, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and excellent communication and negotiation abilities to deliver world-class service and results.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years in the travel industry experience together with use of a Global Distribution System; Sabre
- Strong sales skills and proven work experience as a travel agent
- Excellent understanding of cruises, tour packages and FITs
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook and Word
- Ability to interact, communicate and negotiate effectively
- Ability to sell international customized programs, tours and cruises
- Impeccable listening skills, willingness to learn, and ability to work well in a team environment
