Ensure assigned equipment is in proper working order and maintain physical space for a safe, clean environment. Manage work order requests, resolve specialized problems, and act as a liaison between employees and outside contractors. Draft preventive maintenance schedules, maintain inventory, and install or repair hardware, software, and peripherals. Read technical manuals, diagnose issues, set up equipment, and train users on proper hardware or software use. Refer major defects to vendors and prepare evaluations to recommend upgrades. Confer with staff and management to establish system requirements and inspect equipment for delivery.
