Job Summary
Organize and file member information and loan folders manually or electronically to maintain accurate records. Create folders for new accounts, obtain statement copies, and scan or photocopy documents as requested. Check inventory of supplies and forms, notify supervisors of shortages, and ensure archive records are properly stored. Adhere to BSA, OFAC, and NCUA regulations while delivering quality service to members and colleagues. Perform primarily sedentary work eight hours daily with occasional lifting up to 35 lbs. Requires one year of financial institution experience, Microsoft Office proficiency, and ability to work extended hours as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- One (1) year experience in a financial institution setting
- Working in a previous cash handling and customer service environment
- Maintain knowledge of Microsoft Office Products (word, excel, and office)
- Use of desktop computers
- Working knowledge of other core systems
- Annual training to ensure compliance with NCUA requirements, rules, and regulations
- Professional, well-developed interpersonal skills necessary for servicing Credit Union members and projecting a positive image to members
- Use of critical judgment in day-to-day situations and problems within established guidelines
- Must be able to perform job functions with supervision and work effectively either on own or as part of a team
- Must be able to read and carry out various instructions and follow oral instructions
- Must be able to speak clearly and deliver information in a logical and understandable sequence
- Must be able to perform basic mathematical calculations with extreme accuracy
- Must be capable of dealing calmly and professionally with numerous different personalities from diverse cultures at various levels within and outside of the organization
- Must be capable of exercising highest level of discretion on confidential matters
- Must be able to operate routine office equipment including telephone, copier, facsimile, and calculator
- Must be capable of climbing/descending stairs in emergency situations
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 35 lbs
- Must be able to work extended hours whenever required or requested by management
- Must be capable of regular, reliable, and timely attendance
- Must be reliable and punctual
- Adhering to BSA and OFAC regulations
- Always adhere to member confidentiality rules and displays professionalism
