Job Summary
Receptionist duties include answering calls and greeting visitors, providing customer service, screening telephone calls, assisting walk-in customers, accessing and narrating computerized child support files, handling mail, uploading and associating documents to the web-based case management system, drafting and revising office procedures, taking notes for team meetings, scheduling conference rooms, notarizing documents after notary training, scheduling paternity tests, interpreting laws/policies for the Oregon Child Support Program, providing technical and administrative support, and responding to inquiries about case statuses. The role requires notary within six months and is full-time in Pendleton with standard daytime hours.
Required Qualifications
- Two years of general clerical experience that includes keyboarding, word processing, or other experience generating documents.
- OR An associate degree in any field.
- AND Finalists must pass a comprehensive employment reference check and fingerprint-based criminal background check.
- A driver history check will be included for positions requiring state vehicle driving privileges.
- This position will be required to obtain a Notary Public commission within six months of being hired and will maintain the commission throughout the duration of this appointment.
