Job Summary
Assist the Branch Manager with daily operations, supervise staff, and provide guidance and performance feedback. Serve customers on the trade counter by offering advice, processing sales, and building rapport with clients and suppliers. Perform general warehouse duties including goods in and out, picking, and packing orders, with occasional relief delivery driving in a 3.5 tonne van. This full-time, permanent role involves 40 hours per week Monday to Friday (08:00am–5:00pm) and Saturday shifts on a rota basis. A manual driving licence and prior customer service experience are preferred. You will step up to run the branch during the Branch Manager's absence.
Required Qualifications
- Full UK Manual Driving Licence
- Previous industry or merchant experience
- Prior experience in a Face to Face customer service/sales environment
- Excellent communication skills

- Willingness to step up to run the branch in the Branch Managers absence
- Keenness to learn
