Job Summary
Process member transactions including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments while assisting in the lobby. Balance cash drawers, reconcile daily transactions, and manage account inquiries for checking, savings, CDs, and Visa applications. Educate members on product features, fees, and Interactive Teller Machines, then cross-sell digital services through proactive outbound calls and relationship deepening initiatives. Ensure strict adherence to credit union regulations, detect suspicious activities, and participate in branch meetings to stay current on policies. This role supports branch operations at the JFK location, offering a starting pay of $20.85 per hour with monthly and annual incentives.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous customer services or equivalent experience
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- An aptitude for learning new technologies
- Strong attention to detail
