Job Summary
Develop comprehensive branch-level sales plans and forecasts while managing marketing program execution, including door-to-door, direct mail, and community outreach. Lead the recruiting, interviewing, and staffing of ten or more peak sales representatives, overseeing their performance, training, and disciplinary actions. Compile potential customer lists from various sources and provide support in closing sales to drive volume and profit growth. Address customer complaints, manage cancellation requests, and analyze sales data to ensure adherence to performance standards and budgetary constraints.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or 2 - 3 years of related experience in the lawn/horticulture agronomic field
- Proven experience in sales
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in using sales analytics and CRM tools
- Ability to travel to all Door to Door routes within the market
- Demonstrated knowledge of the organization, products, and/or services
- Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements
- Proven leadership and ability to drive sales teams
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, percentages, and volume
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, specialists, customers, and the general public
- Ability to define customer problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
