Branch Sales Manager

Job Summary

Communicate the company's vision and division goals to all team members while managing financial objectives and reviewing operational standing to identify profit margin opportunities. Conduct competitive market analysis, develop strategies to increase market share, and lead training on banking procedures, collections, audits, and compliance with federal, state, and local laws. Coach branch team members on sales leadership, customer experience, and company policies, taking the lead on case management for delinquent accounts and collaborating with the Division Director to build a healthy, future-facing branch. Maintain appearance standards, ensure adherence to operational quality standards, and drive overall branch profitability and growth.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Must be 18 (except in AL where the age requirement is 19)
  • Eligible to work in the USA
  • Valid driver's license
  • Access to insured, reliable transportation
  • Ability to travel within division
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Ability to coach and develop others
  • Ability to understand and ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and laws governing our industry/business and products
  • Ability to develop and maintain business relationships at all levels of the organization, both internally and externally
  • Must be able to successfully complete all post offer screens, including a criminal background check, MVR, credit check if required by state law, and reference check

Desired Qualifications

  • Bi-Lingual Spanish
  • Some college
  • Two years of prior management experience
  • Working knowledge of P&L
  • Sales knowledge
  • Collections knowledge
  • Cost controlling measures knowledge
  • Equivalent operational and/or leadership experience
  • Management experience with exemplary results solving customer and operational issues
  • Successful P&L management
  • Two years of leadership experience, including sales leadership
  • Ability to build strong relationships with current and prospective customers, in person, in the market and over the phone
  • Ability to monitor and measure customer satisfaction
  • Ability to take the lead on case management for delinquent accounts
  • Ability to collaborate with Division Director to help build a healthy, strong, future-facing branch
  • Ability to teach and validate understanding of Customer Choice - One Company/One Customer and the overall Omni channel experience
  • Ability to instruct the branch on company procedures, policies, practices, and computer systems
  • Ability to assist the DDO with implementation of new or changed procedures, policies, products, or programs
  • Ability to lead by example in a hands-on and approachable manner
  • Ability to recognize and develop skills/abilities of assigned branch in order to meet branch, division, and Company objectives
  • Passion for sales, marketing, and training
  • Ability to increase overall performance, productivity, and profitability of branch
  • Ability to promote employee engagement, teamwork and job satisfaction through continued coaching and development
  • Ability to conduct and train competitive market analysis and develop strategies to increase total market share and active customer accounts
  • Ability to work with DDO, Field Marketing Manager, and Corporate Marketing to maintain on-going marketing campaigns for the branch
  • Ability to recognize, train, and develop skills and abilities of the branch team members in order to achieve objectives and provide effective leadership
  • Ability to recruit, coach, evaluate branch team
  • Ability to communicate the Company's vision and strategies to all team members
  • Ability to establish and communicate division goals and objectives
  • Ability to manage financial goals
  • Ability to use analytics to assess ways to improve financial position
  • Ability to review operational standing of assigned branch to identify areas of opportunity for increased profit margin
  • Ability to provide training and guidance in all aspects of operations and sales leadership
  • Ability to ensure the training of procedures outlining banking, collections, audits, and other company policies and standards are being met
  • Ability to guide assigned branch teams in conjunction with Operational Quality Specialists on identifying and mitigating compliance concerns
  • Ability to delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate team members
  • Ability to maintain the Advance America appearance standards and maintenance requirements for the branch
  • Ability to work with DDO to ensure that all federal, state, and local laws are followed including company best practices and policies
  • Ability to collaborate with Operational Quality Specialists to observe and detect potential risks for non-compliance
  • Ability to provide training and guidance in all aspects of operations, marketing and customer experience
  • Ability to recognize and develop skills/abilities of assigned branch in order to meet branch, division, and Company objectives
