Job Summary
Conduct daily safety inspections on all roofing crews to check compliance with OSHA regulations and inspect equipment on new construction sites. Assist in setting up fall protection, pre-job inspections, and job planning meetings while completing daily Job Hazard Analyses and pre-task huddles. Review inspection results with crews to cover safety awareness messages and report findings weekly to the Operations Manager, ensuring immediate reporting of serious violations. Assist in conducting monthly and quarterly training meetings. Requires overnight travel, a valid driver's license, and five years of roofing experience.
Required Qualifications
- Overnight travel
- Good working knowledge of roofing procedures and safety
- Knowledge and understanding of OSHA Regulations
- Excellent communication/ writing skills
- Analytical, leadership, interpersonal, problem-solving and organizational / time management skills
- Excellent follow-up skills
- Valid state driver's license in good standing
- 5 years of roofing/ construction experience
