Job Summary
Oversee and supervise daily teller operations, including cash handling, vault transactions, drawer reconciliation, and ATM management to ensure accuracy and compliance. Deliver excellent member service by addressing requests, processing transactions, and supervising Personal Banker tasks such as account openings, debit card servicing, and fraud claims. Develop advisory relationships with members to generate referrals across retail, consumer, and commercial lending channels while mentoring staff and conducting audits. Support contact center inbound calls during peak times, assist with digital banking inquiries, and lead the team to meet monthly loan and service goals. Occasionally work unusual hours, including Saturdays and call nights, while traveling up to 50 miles for business needs.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalency certification
- Two (2) to three (3) years of teller experience
- Knowledge of Cash Recycler equipment
- Knowledge of CDM Machine equipment
- Knowledge of ATM equipment
- Knowledge of ITM equipment
- Knowledge of card machine equipment
- One (1) year or more in a supervisory role
- Intermediate mathematical skills
- Understanding of loan processing procedures
- Knowledge of credit union loan policies and regulations
- Knowledge of Truth in Lending
- Knowledge of HMDA
- Knowledge of Equal Credit Opportunity Act
- Knowledge of Fair Credit Reporting Act
- Familiarity with credit union products, services, policies, regulations, and procedures
- Ability to communicate effectively through speaking and hearing
- Visual acuity for reporting and presenting information
- Ability to occasionally lift over 45 lbs.
- Ability to occasionally work unusual hours, including Credit Union Days and call nights
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including Saturdays
- Ability to occasionally travel up to 50 miles for business needs
