Job Summary
Oversee operational activities, supervise staff, and train personnel to ensure audits and operational measures are met while maintaining bank security. Initiate and oversee a personal loan portfolio and office loan portfolio (mortgage and consumer loans) to meet credit quality, profitability, loan growth, and service objectives, including credit life and A/H sales to support lending profitability with controlled costs. Foster a sales-oriented culture within the branch by leading sales meetings, delivering superior customer service, and developing a motivated, well-trained team that achieves growth and income objectives. Employ relationship management to build and service a portfolio of high-priority customers to drive new business and growth, while maintaining knowledge of banking matters, regulatory requirements, and management techniques to sustain performance. Maintain ongoing learning of banking products, services, and policies to ensure effective performance and customer satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
- Two-plus years of position-related experience
- Two-plus years of management/supervisory experience
- General understanding of marketing, investment and lending principles and of bank-related laws and regulations
- Knowledge of the features and benefits of bank products and services
- Working knowledge of bank operating policies and procedures
- Basic accounting skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and related program software
- Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn position-related software
- Education beyond a high school diploma or equivalent educational experience (preferred)
