Job Summary
Lead day-to-day branch operations at Lansing Building Products, supervising the inside sales staff and warehouse manager, and support branch profitability through P&L management. Serve as the go-to leader for customer service opportunities and issues, drive continuous improvement of branch operations and sales, monitor warehouse processes, inventory, fleet, payroll, deposits, and reporting, and collaborate with the warehouse team to optimize the company’s inventory network. Grow the branch by mentoring staff, ensuring exceptional customer interactions, and leveraging strong communication and computer skills to meet personal and branch goals.
Required Qualifications
- Experienced manager and supervisor with the ability to motivate subordinates
- Experience with building products either as a salesperson or in senior warehouse roles
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to meet and reach personal goals
- Strong computer knowledge
- All-around business professional with exceptional telephone etiquette
- Competitor with a hunger for success and the willingness to go the extra mile
- Strong ability to work one-on-one with customers
- Experience in fast-paced environments
- Ability to manage and supervise branch operations including staffing, inventory, and payroll
