Job Summary
Manage and coordinate branch operations for commercial HVAC maintenance, service, and installation while ensuring safety, labor productivity, and inventory control. Direct four to ten employees through hiring, training, performance appraisal, and daily task assignment, interpreting blueprints and job orders to assign duties and establish work procedures. Analyze financial reports and production data to measure goal achievement, recommend process improvements, and resolve work problems. Maintain time and production records, manage tool and equipment inventory, and provide safety training to prevent violations. Supervise on-time arrival and customer satisfaction while adhering to company policies and applicable laws.
Required Qualifications
- Associate Degree (A.A.) or equivalent education from a two-year college or technical school
- 5+ years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- HVAC industry technical knowledge
- P&L Management Experience with successful track record
- Ability to travel in local market on a regular basis
- occasional overnight travel
- Ability to climb ladders
- Moderate lifting (up to 50 pounds)
- Computer skills; competent in MS Office software (Word and Excel)
- Must achieve NATE certification in first full year as Branch Manager
- EPA Certification: Type I and Type II or Universal
