Job Summary
Branch Operations Manager at CrossCountry Mortgage who oversees and directly participates in the loan process from start to finish, assisting Loan Officers and Loan Processors with loan eligibility, reviewing complex income documentation, training staff, providing customer service to borrowers, reviewing mortgage disclosures and ensuring the loan structure best fits the borrower's financial circumstances. Responsible for pre-underwriting items to support approval, identifying missing documentation, and inputting feeds for disclosures to align loan terms with borrower needs. Requires collaboration across teams, strong analytical and communication skills, and in-depth knowledge of mortgage regulations and processing tools.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent combination of education/experience
- 3-5 years’ residential mortgage processing experience
- Experience with Encompass LOS, preferred
- Prior underwriting experience, a plus
- Knowledge of RESPA guidelines and all mortgage and consumer regulations
- Excellent math and analytics skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent prioritization and time management skills to meet deadlines
- Proficiency in DU, LP, Microsoft Outlook, and Windows
