Job Summary
Lead and supervise risk and the operations of teller functions to deliver exceptional customer service and colleague experience, and ensure timely completion, quality, and compliance in teller functions. Provide feedback and present ideas for improving customer service and colleague experience, and related performance management process and tools. Manage the schedule and daily operations of the teller line; mentor and develop direct reports; allocate resources; and resolve issues in collaboration with branch employees and mid-level managers. This LO role may involve needs assessment and referring customers to a SAFE team member for dwelling secured products, while not taking applications or negotiating terms. Requires adherence to applicable regulations, policy and procedure requirements, and audit/escalation procedures; strong customer service, communication, and leadership skills; ability to educate customers about technology and mobile banking options; and experience in risk management and compliance within a high-volume banking environment.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience assessing and meeting the needs of customers or helping with issue resolution, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 1+ years of Leadership experience
- Loan Originator qualification requirements under Regulation Z (LO) outlined in the job expectations
- Current credit report used to assess financial responsibility and credit fitness (credit score not included)
- Successful candidates must meet ongoing regulatory requirements including additional screening
