Job Summary
Conduct daily branch operations by delivering exceptional counter and phone service while performing warehouse and light production responsibilities. Process orders and transactions, receive and stock inventory, build hose assemblies with quality checks, and prepare products for customer pickup or shipment. Estimate delivery timelines based on inventory levels, pull and allocate products using RF scanners, and perform outbound follow-ups. Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment to fulfill orders, make local pickups and deliveries, and support inventory control activities including cycle counts. Maintain a safe, clean work area and comply with safety regulations while managing a fast-paced, team-oriented industrial distribution environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Detail-oriented with solid organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer proficiency including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately
- Mechanical aptitude
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
- Regular, reliable, and punctual on-site attendance
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds
- Ability to stoop, reach above shoulder level, push, and pull
- Ability to walk/stand on cement flooring
- Ability to climb ladders as needed
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse/branch environment containing moving equipment, fluctuating temperature, and inventory in various storage arrangements
- Ability to complete required safety and equipment training
- Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment as needed and in compliance with safety standards
- Ability to maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area
- Ability to comply with and enforce company rules, safety regulations, policies, and procedures
- Ability to perform other duties as assigned
- Ability to pass pre-employment criminal background, drug screen, and DMV record review
Desired Qualifications
- Epicor Prophet 21 experience
- Familiarity with industrial/hydraulic hose and fittings
- Parker Hannifin experience
- Forklift certification
