Job Summary
Drive branch performance and growth by leading a high-performing team, coaching staff, and delivering outstanding customer service. Execute business development and sales strategies focused on small businesses, growing deposits, originating loans, and expanding client relationships through cross-selling. Ensure full compliance with Federal regulations including the Bank Secrecy Act, USA Patriot Act, and OFAC while meeting production goals. Reflect corporate values of integrity, teamwork, and service in all communications. WaFd Bank serves consumers and business clients across nine Western states with a century of financial leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in finance, business, or a related field
- 5+ years in banking
- at least 2-3 years in a supervisory or managerial role
- prior sales or client relations experience
- Proven success in small business development, deposit/loan growth, and cross-selling
- Strong knowledge of banking regulations, compliance, and operational procedures
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams), keyboarding, and digital banking tools
- Excellent organizational, analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Must have valid driver's license
- ability to be bonded
