Job Summary
Manage day-to-day operations, profitability, and security of a full-service branch, including opening/closing, GL reconciliation, and ATM balancing. Direct retail staff to achieve branch goals while overseeing loan approvals, collections, and cross-selling opportunities for consumer and commercial products. Ensure compliance with federal and state banking regulations, maintain physical property standards, and resolve customer complaints. Lead team meetings, conduct performance reviews, and mentor employees to foster high morale and positive service culture.
Required Qualifications
- Supervisory Responsibilities
- Coaches staff to achieve established branch and retail department goals
- Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws
- Makes recommendations regarding selection of new employees, salary increases, promotions, transfers, disciplinary actions, and terminations
- Monitors employee performance, gives ongoing feedback on performance, and conducts effective performance reviews at least annually
- Addresses employee complaints and resolves problems
- Coaches, counsels and provides general direction and guidance to direct reports
- Holds branch staff meetings as needed to keep employees informed and communicate pertinent information
