Job Summary
Develop and direct growth strategy and service portfolio goals for the assigned branch, including promoting Tru Cooperative Bank within the community and providing sales and service leadership to the team. Execute an annual business plan for operations, sales management, and financial growth while developing long-term member relationships and identifying strategies to increase profits and reduce expenses. Provide leadership and coaching to the branch management team, ensuring a high-performance culture and member satisfaction through active training and performance management. Monitor and analyze all branch credit activities, including pricing, rating, and approvals, while ensuring adherence to established policies and risk management procedures to manage fraud and meet regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Mutual fund license
- Branch Compliance Officer (BCO) for Mutual Funds
- Must complete the internal Tru Cooperative certification program specific to this role within the required timeframe
- 6 years experience in a branch leadership level role within a financial institution
- Sales leadership and coaching experience
- Displays an understanding of risk and risk ownership by being able to demonstrate adherence to policies and procedures

- Commercial banking experience
- Credit adjudication experience
- Demonstrated leadership attributes and/or experience motivating a high-performance team
- Proven ability to develop and execute on strategic sales and service plans
- Proven skills in business development and achievement of sales goals and targets
- Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills with ability to interact with a wide variety of people
- Proficient in computer software programs e.g. Microsoft Office and banking software programs
