Job Summary
Oversee branch budget planning, loan growth, and revenue maximization while serving as a primary lender and Branch President. Direct sales and lending staff to meet goals, review loan applications, and negotiate structures with applicants. Manage human resources strategies, including hiring, training, and resolving employee grievances. Represent the bank at community events and media appearances, while promoting cross-selling of products. Prepare composite reports and ensure all operations adhere to established policies and compliance requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College or university
- seven to ten years related experience and/or training
- equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent
- knowledge of Microsoft Internet Explorer and Microsoft Office software
- Candidates must possess the ability to lift and carry cash drawers, coin bags, and boxes sometimes weighing as much as 25 pounds
- All employees are required to attend training as required by GPB
- support the overall compliance program by complying with all laws, policies and procedures
