Job Summary
Branch Manager responsible for overall profitability and branch operations at East Haven, including directing sales and business development, coaching staff, managing customer and employee experience, and ensuring compliance with banking guidelines. Role involves sourcing and growing Business Banking relationships, leading staffing decisions, conducting interviews, and owning complex account servicing and problem resolution. Must oversee onboarding and licensing requirements, drive community presence, and achieve annual sales and profitability goals through proactive leadership, coaching, and risk-aware operations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or four years of relevant experience
- Minimum three years sales experience
- Minimum two years managerial experience
- Insurance licensing (Life/Accident and Health) within 18 months of entry (training provided within 6 months)
- M&T Business Banking Specialist within 18 months of hire
- Strong knowledge of Business Banking products and client relationship management
- Proven ability to coach exceptional customer service
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and common PC software
- Bilingual/Spanish preferred
