Job Summary
Branch Manager responsible for identifying and securing business opportunities to support revenue growth in a defined geographic area. Develop and implement sales strategies for new, active, and inactive accounts; coordinate with field management to plan and follow up on sales activities; and drive profitability in assigned areas. Role includes leading account plans, conducting prospecting and sales calls (independently and with branch staff), partnering with headquarters to enhance product knowledge, steering the sales process to shorten the sales cycle, and achieving sales targets. Requires travel to various locations and strong skills in consultative selling, cold calling, presentations, proposals, networking, and customer service. Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and internet tools is expected, along with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and to work collaboratively with a team.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Outside direct sales experience (minimum 3 years)
- Proven ability to develop sales strategies and close sales
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Ability to travel to customer sites and other company offices
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Customer service skills
- Ability to plan and execute sales activities
- Experience with networking and local business community engagement
