Job Summary
Lead the branch team as the primary sales leader, acquiring and retaining customer relationships to drive growth in checking, deposits, lending, credit cards, and investments. Coach and develop staff through observation, feedback, and targeted performance management to improve productivity and execute sales behaviors. Partner with internal sales partners across Wealth, Business Banking, and Home Lending to deliver comprehensive solutions that deepen customer value and wallet share. Balance growth objectives with operational risk management, resolving issues and modeling compliance to protect customers, employees, and the company. Complete the Branch Manager Readiness Program, which includes mentorship and job shadowing, before transitioning to the permanent role.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of banking, financial services, or Branch Network experience
- 2+ years of leadership experience
- Ability to work a schedule that includes Saturdays
- Ability to travel in assigned geography up to 50% of the time during the first 6 months
- SAFE registration
- Loan Originators must meet LO/CFPB requirements
- Compliance with Wells Fargo policies, including standards related to financial responsibility, character, fitness, and criminal background
- Credit report review eligibility
- Ongoing screening eligibility
- Visa sponsorship not eligible
