Job Summary
Lead a branch team as the sales leader, acquiring and retaining customer relationships to drive growth in checking, deposits, lending, credit cards, and investments through disciplined execution and strong coaching. Balance growth objectives with operational risk management to protect customers, employees, and the company while fostering an engaged culture focused on uncovering financial needs and recommending tailored solutions. Provide inclusive leadership by establishing clear expectations, managing performance through targeted coaching, and partnering with internal sales partners to deliver a comprehensive banking experience across wealth, business, and home lending segments. Identify opportunities to simplify banking through digital education and leverage reporting to improve team performance and expand wallet share. This interim, nonexempt role requires a schedule including Saturdays and up to 50% travel during the first six months. Successful completion of the Branch Manager Readiness Program is required before transitioning to the permanent position.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of banking, financial services, or Branch Network experience
- 2+ years of leadership experience
- Ability to work a schedule that includes Saturdays
- Ability to travel in assigned geography up to 50% of the time during the first 6 months
- SAFE registration
- Loan Originators must meet LO/CFPB requirements
- Compliance with Wells Fargo policies including standards related to financial responsibility, character, fitness, and criminal background
- Credit report review eligibility
- Ongoing screening eligibility
- Visa sponsorship not eligible
