Job Summary
Lead day-to-day operations across mitigation and reconstruction divisions with full accountability for branch performance. Manage a team of 40–50 staff, including techs, PMs, and estimators, while building leadership underneath. Maintain 24/7 emergency response readiness and ensure mitigation files close within 30 days. Run reconstruction backlogs with strict WIP discipline to prevent stalled jobs. Own key relationships with adjusters, agents, plumbers, property managers, and TPA programs. Establish standards for safety, documentation, and estimating integrity. Requires 5+ years in restoration or insurance repair with 3+ years running a branch or division. Full authority over hiring, scheduling, and estimating standards.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years in restoration or insurance repair
- 3 years running a branch, division, or team
- Xactimate knowledge
- TPA scorecard knowledge
- Experience fighting (politely) with a carrier over a supplement
- Ability to read a WIP report and identify lying jobs
- Experience hiring, training, and keeping technicians
- Comfort with being the person the phone finds at 2 a.m. when a CAT event hits
