Job Summary
Lead a branch team to acquire, deepen, and retain customer relationships while driving growth in primary checking, deposits, lending, credit cards, and investments. Coach and develop staff to execute behaviors that uncover financial needs and recommend tailored solutions across consumer and business segments. Balance growth objectives with operational risk management, including compliance controls, loss prevention, and proactive issue resolution. Partner with internal sales partners to deliver a coordinated experience and leverage digital options to enhance customer engagement. Manage performance through targeted observation, feedback, and accountability while maintaining a culture of inclusion and high performance. Requires Saturday availability, up to 50% travel during initial placement, and completion of the Branch Manager Readiness Program.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of banking, financial services, or Branch Network experience
- 2+ years of leadership experience
- Ability to work a schedule that includes Saturdays
- Ability to travel in assigned geography up to 50% of the time during the first 6 months
- SAFE registration
- Loan Originators must meet LO/CFPB requirements
- Compliance with Wells Fargo policies including standards related to financial responsibility, character, fitness, and criminal background
- Credit report review eligibility
- Ongoing screening eligibility

- Effective following and adhering to applicable Wells Fargo policies and procedures
- Fulfilling risk and compliance obligations
